Surabhi Pandit

Dr Surabhi Pandit is a researcher in biophysics with expertise in protein biochemistry and antimicrobial research. Her research focuses on the multifunctional protein lactoferrin and its therapeutic applications against fungal pathogens and antimicrobial resistance. She has worked extensively on the structural and functional characterisation of bovine lactoferrin, investigating its antimicrobial, immunomodulatory, and anti-inflammatory properties through biochemical and biophysical approaches. Dr. Pandit's research interests include host–pathogen interactions, antifungal therapeutics, protein structure-function relationships, and translational applications of bioactive proteins. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed research articles in international journals and actively contributes to interdisciplinary research bridging molecular biology, microbiology, and biophysics. She is committed to developing innovative therapeutic strategies to address emerging infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance.
