Manjit Rana
Manjit] is a fourth-year international PhD candidate in the Protein Crystallography Lab at the University of Adelaide, supervised by A/Prof. John Bruning and Prof. Wayne Tilley. Drawing on an unconventional path through Dental Surgery and Medical Genetics, he now investigates Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators (SARMs) as a therapeutic strategy for AR+/ER+ breast cancer, combining computational and structural biology approaches across collaborative projects in Australia and internationally. Beyond the lab, he demonstrates for third-year Biochemistry practical courses and is a member of the Institute for Photonic and Advanced Sensing (IPAS), where he contributes to transdisciplinary research.
